Fallout London has released!
ENTERTAINMENT

A fix for all fallout fans waiting for the next entry into the franchise, this DLC sized mod based in London, England is just the medicine we need.
For all the Fallout fans still awaiting an official new entry in the series since Fallout 4 dropped back in 2015, this DLC sized mod developed by Team FOLON should help breath more fresh air into the franchise in the meantime. In development since 2019, the London mod offers an entirely new location, fully voice acted with 200 different quests which comes to an estimated 90 hours of post apocalyptic fun.
Per the Folon Team "the mod will allow the player to visit the previously unexplored post-apocalyptic environment of London. In a divergence from previous official titles in the series, Fallout: London is not set in America. This will allow the player to explore an entirely new setting, interact with new post-war cultures and societies, and see a world distinct from the Americana of the mainline games. It also allows the player to explore pre-war European history and the effects the Resource Wars had on the class-structured society of pre-war Britain."
Unfortunately, Fallout: London does not work on the Game Pass/Windows Store PC version of Fallout 4, the Epic Games store versions of Fallout 4 and is not available on consoles either.
A Steam or GOG.com version of Fallout 4 are currently the only ways to play and luckily, the mod is being distributed via GOG.com.
You must also already own a PC copy of Fallout 4, including all of its DLC. This includes Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka-World and all of the workshop packs. If you don't already have these DLCs or Fallout 4 installed, a good idea is buying the Game of the Year edition of Fallout 4 as that includes all of the DLC.
Fallout: London will take up an estimated 33.8 GB and to quote the mod's GOG store page directly, 'Fallout: London will completely take over your Fallout 4 installation' and 'make irreversible changes'. This means if you want to play Fallout 4: GOTY Edition, you'll need to uninstall and then reinstall this version of the game to play it again. You'll also be required to disable cloud saves.
To play Fallout London on Steam, be aware it isn’t compatible with the most recent version of Fallout 4, which means you need to manually install an old version: 1.10.163.0. You’ll have to open Steam’s console commands to do that.

Open your file browser and enter: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_377160. This will take you to the depot for everything you just downloaded.
Delete everything in your Fallout 4: GOTY Edition Steam folder and copy and paste everything you just downloaded. This will downgrade Fallout 4 to the previous edition. The next step is stopping Steam from automatically updating the game, otherwise this process will be need to be repeated again.
To stop those automatic updates, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\appmanifest_377160.acf, and select “Properties” for this file. Check the “Read Only” box to prevent Steam from updating the game unless you do it manually.
Now Fallout: London can be downloded via GoG Galaxy, and it will launch the modded game via Steam.
